The Root Of Exposure In The Church

WOW! What a year 2024 has been for exposure in the church. From the end of 2023 through 2024, I have never seen so many pastors, prophets and ministries fall from grace and get exposed in such a short period of time.

Yahweh is exposing the sexual immorality, pedophilia, fraud, extortion, and even murder –if we can wrap our minds around that. And the exposure isn’t over yet.  This is quite the shaking.

Although the main focus tends to be on some of the Mega churches such as IHOP Kansas City (Mike Bickle), Morning Star (Rick Joyner/Chris Reed), Gateway Church (Robert Morris), and Daystar (Joni Lamb et. al.), there has been at least 100 others exposed from various denominations in several states and other countries. Some of these pastors/leaders have been arrested, some sentenced to prison, some under investigation, and most of them have resigned or been fired from their post. I say most because at the time of this post there is a call for Joni Lamb to resign but she has not.

For confirmation, you can check out the You Tube channel called “Not By Sight News” which shares the exposures as they become available in the news. He only shares that which has already become public knowledge so it is not hearsay or gossip. Also, please know that I list the above names only because it is public knowledge of their exposure and I do not want any of the innocent people who sat under them or worked with them to be falsely thought of as part of their exposure.

Regardless of how big or small these churches/ministries are, millions of Christians have become victims of their deception one way or the other, meaning directly or indirectly. Paul said in his letter to the Galatian churches, “Who has bewitched you that you should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed among you as crucified?” I believe the same sentiment applies here. Many Christians are grieving and mourning because they have put their trust in a ministry and/or pastor only to discover they have been hoodwinked and the spiritual devastation is real. The entire body of Yeshua is hurting because of this apostasy. It affects us all and is quite a wake up call to stay sober and alert. 

Why is Yahweh exposing so many of these pastors and ministries right now?

Because the stench of the wolves, the works of the flesh, and the lies and hypocrisy has reached His nostrils. He will not be mocked! Psalm 24 says “the earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof, and all the inhabitants that dwell upon the earth.” It goes on to say “who can ascend to the holy hill except he who has clean hands and a pure heart.” 

1 Peter, chapter 2 says we are to “lay aside all malice, all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and all evil speaking, and as newborn babes desire the pure milk of the word that we may grow. Peter goes on to say “to those who believe, Jesus is precious; but to those who are disobedient, they become a stone of stumbling and a rock of offense…But to us, He is raising up a holy nation of people, a royal priesthood.”

Therefore judgment must begin in His house because of the disobedience of many. It’s a new season and a new remnant generation of believers are being raised up by Yeshua and they will not be playing church as in the past generation. In addition, those who have played church are in much need of a spiritual adjustment and they are getting one.

Now is the time to become as newborn babes and desire the pure milk of the word with an emphasis on “pure”. There is not an apostle, prophet, evangelist, preacher, or teacher on earth that can wash away the sins of man. It is only by the blood of Yeshua that we can be cleansed of our sins and the cleansing includes by being washed by the word. (Eph. 5:26-27) “That He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holdy and without blemish.”

When those who are called by His name stray from Truth and become prideful, lazy, greedy, and begin to do what’s right in their own eyes, they are going to be humbled. It’s not a question of if the humbling will happen, it is a matter of when it is going to happen. We should all give praise and thanksgiving to Yahweh for the wake up call and take a good look in the mirror. There are three things we must consider:

1. This type of exposure is not a new thing for Yahweh. He has done this in the past and although it happens in certain seasons and eras of time, it happens and will continue to happen until such time Yeshua returns for His bride who has made herself ready blameless before Him. The Bible tells of many times throughout history this has occurred and we learn that He is slow to anger but when He needs to step in to bring correction, there is no stopping Him. He is Yahweh (I AM that I AM). The good news is that although His judgments are true His mercies are new every day.

2. He is a just and faithful God and He is full of grace and compassion. It may not seem like justice and compassion to victims of the abuse (both physical and spiritual) when they are experiencing and having to endure the abuse; however, the fact remains that Yahweh is a Just and Faithful God full of grace and compassion to those who love Him and full of wrath against all ungodliness (Romans 1 etc.)

3. In His grace, He calls the sinners and workers of iniquity to repentance and to return to Him. His grace came in the person of Yeshua (the one who saves, our salvation) who died on the cross and shed His blood for the sins of mankind, and He rose from the grave three days later unto eternal life so that all who confess their sins and turn from their wicked ways and will follow Him, keep His commandments and walk in His statutes (principles) will have eternal life with Him, the Father, and the Spirit of Truth. Yeshua would want that no man perish but that all would come to Him and have eternal life in the kingdom of God. He takes no joy in the evil works of man thus vengeance is His and we can rest assured that He will defend the children, the down trodden, the orphans, and the widows. 

The Bible thoroughly explains to us why Yahweh openly exposes those who have fallen from grace, the wolves in sheep’s clothing, and those who are in sin. It is not a mystery and anyone skilled in the righteousness of His word knows this. However, remember! Many who fall from grace have an opportunity to confess their sin and repent and get back on track and receive their just reward in heaven. Yeshua is our redeemer. The window of opportunity is time limited once exposed and only Yeshua knows the time He will give to each person. Those who refuse to repent will have their just reward and it won’t be in heaven. 

Yeshua tells us that those who blasphemy the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven and that it is impossible for those who were once enlightened and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, if they fall away, to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the son of God, and put Him to an open shame (Hebrews 6:4-6). This alone should scare the hell out of every person who professes to be a Christian.

Note: For clarity, if someone has never professed Yeshua as their Savior, then they don’t walk in grace and thereby can’t fall from grace. They live in sin and are already condemned by Yahweh unless or until they receive Yeshua as their savior. They do however, get to experience His life grace (sun rising and setting on both the good and evil, breath of life on this earth, bearing and raising children etc.) Believers and followers of Yeshua are called to pray for the unbelievers to come to know their Messiah because Satan (the adversary and great deceiver) is working overtime to keep God’s precious children from coming unto Him and receive everlasting life. 

What is the stronghold behind the exposure?

In December 2023, the Holy Spirit spoke and said, 

“Tell My people that 2024 is the year to strengthen the pillars of My house or they will not be able to withstand what is to come.”

The shaking of His house has begun and those who have built their house on anything other than the Rock of Salvation, when the storm comes, that house is going to crumble and fall. The exposure of these church leaders and ministries is showing the church (body of Christ) what happens when the Pillars of His house are weak or built on sand. Every believer in Yeshua HaMashiach should be on our face, crying out to Yahweh to show us which pillars within us need to be strengthened.

This is not a game! This is not an “I’ll get around to it when I have time” moment and this is not a “this doesn’t apply to me” moment. This is a “Time is of the essence” moment. Please do not underestimate what Yahweh is doing in this season with the church.

The ministry we have been called to is to be a voice to awaken the bride of Christ and have her shake off the dust. We have a four part teaching series on the Glorious Church called “What Church Are You?” which breaks down the letters to the seven churches in the book of Revelation. 1. This is the TIME for those who have a name and think they are alive (written in the book of life), but are dead because they have compromised the things of the world (idolatry/mammon/works of flesh) with the things of the kingdom of heaven (Rev. 2:12-17 & Rev. 3:1-6) to repent and strengthen the things which remain so they do not get their name blotted out of the book of life. (Get the pillars of your house strong in Yeshua quickly). Do not get your name blotted out of the book of life! It can happen.

2. This is the TIME for those who say they are rich and have become wealthy and think they have no need, but in fact are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked to repent and buy from Yeshua refined gold and be clothed in His righteousness so the shame of their nakedness will not revealed. (Rev. 3:14-22) Strengthen the pillars of your house to be a holy temple unto Yeshua. As many as He loves, He will rebuke and chasten. Stay lukewarm and you will be spewed out of His mouth (you will be exposed). 

3. This is the TIME for those those who love Yeshua and have faith, love, and works, but they tolerate the Jezebel spirit (smooth talkers, calls themselves prophets/ prophetess’, but they seduce Yah’s servants to commit sexual immorality (physical and spiritual) and eat things sacrificed to idols (false doctrines) to wake up and repent before they are cast into great tribulation with her because in the eyes of Yahweh, those who tolerate this spirit commits adultery with her. (Rev. 2:18-29) It’s crazy to know there is a whole pedophilia ring operating within the church walls because wolves in sheep clothing have crept in unaware.

4. This is the TIME for those who like the idea and feeling of being a Christian, love to fit in with their social “bless you” club, are basically good people hating evil, but have left their first love, Yeshua, to repent. They can be the most religious people in town, know the Bible inside out, but without doing the true will of Yahweh and being obedient to His will for them, he calls them fallen and says to repent and return back to Him. (Rev. 2:1-7)

Meditate on above for a few minutes. These churches are known as the dead, sleeping, and sleep-walking church.

The root of all of them point to one thing: They have left Yahweh and no longer fear Him. Many have never known Him. Exposures within the churches today are a direct result of the above warnings not being heeded. It was happening back in the apostle John’s day and he was given a vision of what would come and be again. 

It’s important to take a step back and think about what organized religion looks like. There is little to no discernment, little to no love of Yahweh, little to no knowledge of Yeshua or His way, little to no vetting of who serves or volunteers in the buildings, who teaches the children or goes on outings and retreats with them. 

Religion today looks for warm bodies and money to fill the coffers. It is a business with a tax exempt status offering a kick back to those who will sow generously into the coffers. There is little to no power of the Holy Spirit casting out the unclean spirits and virtually no testing and approving that which is pure and without falsehood. If the demonic strongman of perversion is cast out, it can not operate within the leaders nor congregation. If the spirit of divination is cast out, witches and warlocks can not infiltrate the church but could be set free. If the spirit of error is cast out, the sound doctrine of Jesus Christ could be taught and there wouldn’t be so many denominations and competition between them. If the spirit of haughtiness is cast out, pride and deception can not operate. If the spirit of whoredoms is cast out, greed and covetousness can not operate, etc. 

We have failed miserably in this thing called church and multitudes of Yah’s children are or have been victimized and have paid a price that was never intended by Yeshua for His bride! Brothers and sisters in Yeshua HaMashiach, this is basic Christianity 101 and the foundational elementary principles. How we have fallen as a body. It’s time to awake and shake off the dust of deception and religion of man’s doctrines and grow our relationship with Yahweh through Yeshua and the Holy Spirit.

We must take time in prayer and in the Word to learn how to test and approve who we are listening to, who we are financially supporting or serving, what we are reading and watching to make sure they are in alignment with the word of Yahweh. Don’t be so quick to follow but check the fruit. It’s time to start shedding that crafty serpent’s skin that has many of us so constricted and encased in religion that we can’t even breath in the breath of Life and taste and see Yeshua’s true goodness. True repentance is necessary and we have got to want to get to know Yeshua more.

We have two commandments to live by: 1) Love the Lord God Almighty with all our heart, with all our mind, and with all our strength. 2) Love one another as we love ourselves and as Yeshua loves us.

These two commandments literally cover the ten commandments that Yahweh gave Moses on Mt. Sinai. (Ex. 20:1-17) 

1And God spoke all these words, saying:  2“I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. 

(Yeshua came to set the captives free from the bondage of world, and religion (including the OT law of the Pharisees and scribes). We are now saved by grace and must walk in faith)

1. 3“You shall have no other gods before Me.  (worldly things, relationships, money, jobs, children, possessions, idols)

2. 4“You shall not make for yourself a carved image—any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; 5you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, 6but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.  (divination of all types, amulets, necromancy, other gods/deities etc.)

3. 7“You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold himguiltless who takes His name in vain.” (False religion; or preaching through selfish ambition or personal gain under the pretense using Yah’s name, i.e., denominations not teaching sound doctrine, prosperity gospel, etc. God will not be mocked)

4. 8“Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. 9Six days you shall labor and do all your work, 10but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates. 11For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.”  (When Yeshua came, He became our Sabbath rest. We must rest in him and learn to cease from our own works and let Him do a work in and through us for the kingdom of heaven here on earth) Hebrews 4:1-14: 

5. 12“Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the Lord your God is giving you.”  (Love one another as He loves us. Father and mother in natural and spiritual with Mother be those who do the will of the Father and Father being Yahweh. Fulfill this and the remaining 5 are fulfilled. Remember Yeshua said his mother and brothers are those who do the will of Yahweh) Matthew 12:40-50: Pointing to His disciples, He said, “Here are My mother and My brothers. / For whoever does the will of My Father in heaven is My brother and sister and mother.”

6. 13“You shall not murder.” (Yeshua said that if we are angry with our brother or sister without cause, we are under judgment and if we hate our brother or sister we are same as a murderer) 1 John 3:15: Everyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that eternal life does not reside in a murderer.  Matt. 5:21-22: You have heard that it was said to the ancients, ‘Do not murder’ and ‘Anyone who murders will be subject to judgment.’ / But I tell you that anyone who is angry with his brother will be subject to judgment.

7. 14“You shall not commit adultery.” (Yeshua said that if we even look at another man’s wife or wife’s husband we have committed adultery and this also applies to serving other gods) Romans 13:9 The commandments “Do not commit adultery,” “Do not murder,” “Do not steal,” “Do not covet,” and any other commandments, are summed up in this one decree: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” Hosea 12:13-14:My people consult their wooden idols, and their divining rods inform them. For a spirit of prostitution leads them astray and they have played the harlot against their God. / They sacrifice on the mountaintops and burn offerings on the hills, under oak, poplar, and terebinth, because their shade is pleasant. And so your daughters turn to prostitution and your daughters-in-law to adultery. Revelation 18:3: All the nations have drunk the wine of the passion of her immorality. The kings of the earth were immoral with her, and the merchants of the earth have grown wealthy from the extravagance of her luxury.”

8. 15“You shall not steal.” (Yeshua said it is better to cut of your right hand than to spend eternity in hell for stealing.  This can be stealing things, money, time, and the innocence of a person, as it causes great harm)

9. 16“You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.” (a Lying spirit works with pride and pride is unrepentant with a heart of stone; gossip)

10. 17“You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor’s.” (Jealousy, greed and envy will cause the above 4 commandments to happen) Hosea 4:2 : Cursing and lying, murder and stealing, and adultery are rampant; one act of bloodshed follows another.

As said above, the stench has reached Yahweh’s nostrils and that is why Yahweh is exposing man’s church for their playing the harlot, having no fear of Him, thereby breaking the marriage covenant between them and the bridegroom (Yeshua). Yeshua doesn’t leave us or forsake us. We leave Him and forsake Him.

Beloved, it is only a matter of time that what happens in the spiritual manifests itself in the natural. We’re seeing it, we’re living in it, and we are called to come out from among it. It’s easy to want to blame it on Satan; and, yes, that crafty deceiving serpent definitely has a role in what we are witnessing in the conduct of “leaders” within the church, but it is not entirely the serpent who is at fault. It is the sin and iniquities of mankind that opens the door to the unclean spirits because of mankind’s departing from the truth and not keeping the commandments of Yahweh. Read the book of Romans.

Hebrews 12:7-11 says, “Endure suffering as discipline; God is treating you as sons. For what son is not disciplined by his father? If you do not experience discipline like everyone else, then you are illegitimate children and not true sons. Furthermore, we have all had earthly fathers who disciplined us, and we respected them. Should we not much more submit to the Father of our spirits and live? …”

Yahweh made a covenant with Moses for a nation of Hebrew people which included blessings and curses for obedience and disobedience. The Hebrew tribes ultimately broke that covenant. Thankfully, long before Moses, Yahweh had made an everlasting promise to Abraham and to Himself that He would bless all nations of peoples through Yeshua and would have a holy people unto Himself, a royal priesthood to join him on the throne in heaven. He fulfilled His promised and Yeshua came and made a new covenant with mankind. It is called the marriage covenant. Our bridegroom returning for His bride. He is not returning for a harlot and adulterous bride. He is coming for a radiant bride who has made herself ready. She is the Glorious Church. Though His bride is human with human imperfections, her heart will be pure. And those who cry out to Him in the eleventh hour of their walk on this earth who have not known Him or His ways, he will have mercy and compassion on and welcome them into the family with open arms. 

Where do we go as a church from here?

There are several factors that cause a pastor or leader of a church to fall from grace and those same factors apply to all believers. The biggest factor is not having an authoritative understanding of the Marriage Covenant of Yeshua. Before one is quick to throw stones, one must first listen to that still small voice when Yeshua spoke as He drew a line in the sand and said, “He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first.” (John 8:7) It was the religious Jews who got riled up and were eager to stone the adulterous woman to death before Yeshua called them out for their own sin. So while we must turn away from the wolves and warn others to beware of them, know that vengeance is Yahweh’s. If we let hatred, anger, and rage take over, are we no better than that of a murderer?

Regarding our brothers and sisters in Yeshua HaMashiach (including pastors, leaders etc.), we must pray for those who started out on the right track but have stumbled and fallen, to be restored through repentance and returning to their first love. They must step down from leadership in true humility and begin the process again to be tested and approved by Yeshua before they are released back into any form of ministry. Six months doesn’t cut it. It may take years to be tested and approved by Yahweh. True humility knows that Yeshua’s grace is sufficient for them.

For centuries and especially in these end times, the body of Christ has been conditioned to follow a man or woman, put them up on a pedestal (the pulpit), trust in what they are told about Yeshua and the gospel rather than actually take the time to seek and search out the word and matter for themselves. They have spent more time in building their relationships with others, or who they know with titles, or obtaining titles for themselves than with their their relationship with the Three. Which of the four warnings to the churches mentioned above might this fall under? Yeshua tells His disciples to follow Him.

Just as the Holy Spirit speaks to us, so does the counterfeit spirit. Christians are required to learn to discern between good and evil. The Holy Spirit of Truth speaks truth and life while the other entices us with fame and fortune, makes promises of worldly things, places vain imaginations into our thoughts, keeps us in a state of compromise, all of which ultimately lead to a fall. Guess who else had a great fall from heaven? Satan! Don’t you think he is on a mission of his own to keep us from the kingdom of heaven not to mention us walking out Yahweh’s will in heaven to be here on earth which is for the salvation of mankind, destroy the works of the devil, and to worship Yahweh in spirit and in truth? Are we not told to pray in this manner: “Our Father who are in heaven, hallowed is Your name. Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us. Lead us not into temptation and deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever.” Amen?

Satan’s only weapon is deception and Yeshua showed us how to overcome his deception when He was tempted in the wilderness. Yeshua literally defeated the works of the devil on the cross and overcame death upon His resurrection to eternal life. We have been given a way out of the darkness through grace when we confess our sins, our pride of life, our lust of the flesh, and lust of our eyes and we received His mercy and compassion when we repent and turn from our wicked ways. 

Just as there is a consequence one must pay when one breaks the law in the natural, we have the opportunity to make it right and not make the same mistake. All those who choose to break the law know they are doing so yet their conviction does not lead to turn away from what they are about to do. They don’t think they’ll get caught. Sadly, many lawbreakers in the land end up in prison and thankfully, many while there come to know Yeshua. 

Remember, what happens in the spiritual will always manifest in the natural and for this reason, God is exposing and dealing with those who have led His sheep astray, those who cause harm to His children (of all ages), and those who have left him and become the adulterous woman by putting the things of this world before the One True God. (The woman and/or wife is in reference to the body of Christ in scripture.)

We mustn’t think that we are immune to trials and tribulations in this world. There is a healthy refining by Yahweh to prepare us for the return of Yeshua or for the day we meet Him, whichever comes first. However, we must know that God is exposing the wolves in sheep’s clothing as well as those who have left their first love. Many will be permanently removed and sentenced to eternal judgment. Some, though not many will repent and be restored. Pride is an ugly thing and most will refuse to repent. For you and I, we must keep our eyes on Yeshua. Yeshua said there are two ways of life (Matt. 7:13-14)

“Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.” He immediately continues with a warning saying, “beware of the false prophets who come to you in sheep’s clothing, bet inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits.” (Matt 7:15)
