PRAYER OF FAITH – 40 DAYS

Will you join us in prayer for 40 days April 9 thru May 18, 2023? Together as one in the Spirit, we can shake heaven and earth.

There’s a power in poverty that breaks principalities
And brings the authority’s down to their knees
There’s a brewing frustration and ageless temptation
To fight for control by manipulation

But the God of the kingdoms and the God of the Nations
The God of creation sends His revelation
Thru the homeless and penniless Jesus the Son
The poor will inherit the Kingdom to come

And Where will we turn when our world falls apart
And all of the treasures we’ve stored in our barns
Can’t buy the Kingdom of God?
And Who will we praise when we’ve praised all our lives
men who build Kingdoms and men who build fame
But heaven does not know their name
What will we fear when all that remains
Is God on His throne, with a child in His arms,
and love in His eyes
And the sound of His heart cry.

The above are lyrics to a Jason Upton song titled “Poverty”. We are to come before the King of Kings, Yeshua the Messiah, with a broken and contrite spirit when we pray. It is in this poverty or “poor in spirit” where we inherit the kingdom of God. Simply put, poverty (or poor in spirit) means that it is not our will but Yahweh’s will that is to be done and recognizing that in our own might we have no power but through the Spirit of the Living God, Yeshua, there is a far greater power that will break the strongholds over our life, the region, and nations.

I believe the message of this song could not be more timely for this hour. It is my heart’s cry that the evil principality and authorities over our nation and the world be brought to their knees before the one true God, Yahweh. The righteous anger within me says “ENOUGH”. As believers in Yeshua, it is our responsibility to fight these battles by praying in the Spirit, because it is not flesh and blood that we battle. The devil’s schemes would have us believe we have to take sides politically and racially. The devil’s schemes would have us believe that we have to be tolerant of the wickedness we see operating day to day. The devil’s schemes have gotten Christians involved in the battle of the flesh through deception, emotions, and mind control. This should be no secret, as Satan has been at work since the beginning of time to break down the human spirit…to keep mankind from walking in Sonship, with the heart and mind of Christ.

It is time, NOW, for us to rise up and pray like we have never prayed before. We are not to pray amiss. Prayers do not get answered when we pray amiss because we are not in alignment with the will of Yahweh. My beloved brothers and sisters, this battle we currently face is not about you or me and our frivolous wants, as God already knows our wants and our needs. It is about all of mankind. It is about all those who are called by the Father’s name, to inherit their rightful place in the Kingdom of God, and that Kingdom is to be alive and well within us each and every day. It is time to rise up as a holy nation, as a royal priesthood to the most high God, as the bride of Yeshua, and bring these dark spiritual forces down to their knees.

The Armor of God

Ephesians 6:10-20

10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. 19 Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, 20 for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should.

I invite you to stand with me for the next 40 days in praying the below prayer. I believe together we can take a stand in the Spirit. By praying this prayer, it will not only bring us together as one in the spirit, but it will strengthen us individually and spiritually by standing in agreement with Yahweh’s word and his will. Pray together as a family, pray individually, pray with a friend, pray, pray, pray. Forward to those you believe will stand in agreement with you. I believe that which I pray in the name of Yeshua will be done. If any of you lack in faith, pray and watch your faith increase. Too much is at stake to let the enemy continue having his way. The prayer begins:

Prayer of Faith

Heavenly Father, I come before your throne today to ask for your forgiveness and your loving grace and mercy. For too long we, your people, have allowed the schemes of the devil to rule and reign over our hearts and minds, and as a result we have been desensitized to You and all you stand for. We have allowed the rulers and authorities, the powers of this dark world and the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms, to set up camp and deceive and corrupt the minds, hearts, and emotions of mankind. This is sin and I acknowledge this as sin. I repent for coming in agreement with the deception that has controlled my mind and thoughts through various media and kingdoms of man and has enabled the principalities of evil to be enthroned over our nations. I renounce the sin of comfort that has prevented me from drawing nearer to you as you have called me. I reject the lie of the devil that I am only one person and therefore I am not effective when it comes to bringing down strongholds so why bother. Forgive me, Yahweh, for these sins. I know I have been redeemed by the blood of the Lamb, Yeshua my savior, and it is by his stripes that I am healed, and by his sacrifice of him laying down his life for all mankind that I am forgiven. Thank you for your amazing grace and love.

Heavenly Father, your word tells us that we are not battling against the flesh and blood, but rather against dark powers and evil spirits. You have said that we are to resist the devil and he will flee. Today and from this day forward, I take a stand to resist the devil and his lying schemes. I ask you, Yahweh, to release a legion of your warring angels to stand with me as I pray and that your guardian angels will surround me, my family, the resources you have provided us, and all those praying with me in the Spirit. I pray for a mighty hedge of protection in the spirit and in the natural. I pray that your perfect will be done on this Earth as it is done in heaven and that every weapon that has been designed to create division and discord among those called by your name be destroyed in the name of Yeshua. Your word warns us against being bewitched with doctrines of man and traditions of man, so I ask you as Creator of the universe, to create a spiritual alignment within me and within all those called by your name to be in one accord with your will. No longer are we to be in your permissible will, but in your perfect will. Reveal your will for me in this hour, Yahweh, as I seek your face.

As Creator, you created all things including the spiritual forces for your glory. However, you created only one human race and you created this race for the purpose to worship you in Spirit and Truth and to inherit your Kingdom. You gave us the authority to walk in dominion over the rest of your creation. You knew we would fail miserably and yet you love us so much that you gave us Yeshua as not only our Savior, but our brother, our friend, and our bridegroom. You have provided a way to escape the vile of darkness through your Light. This is the hour to arise and awaken and to shake off the dust. I ask that you guard my heart and do not let it become hard as stone over what I see happening in this world. Yeshua, I want your heart and a heart for every people, tribe, tongue, and nation. I thank you that there is neither male nor female in the spirit so I pray that you will unite us all in the spirit to love as you love, see others as you see them, hear as you hear, and obey as you obey. Yeshua, you alone are our mediator before Yahweh, hear my prayer today my King and create in me a clean spirit.

Yahweh, you have not given us a spirit of fear but of sound mind, so I pray that you will strengthen my mind and my thoughts and reveal any areas that I need to repent of where my mind and thoughts have been weakened through deception of things of this world. I will not walk in fear of man, nor will I walk in fear of the devil, because you alone are my tower of strength and I know that you are my refuge from the enemy in times of trouble. I rejoice that you call me your child. Let my thoughts and actions be pleasing in your eyes alone and keep me safe under your wings, Almighty God. You have us in this world for a purpose. Your word says that though we are in this world, we are not of this world but of another kingdom, your Kingdom. We are to keep our feet planted firmly on the rock of our salvation, Yeshua, and represent him in all we do while on this Earth. Help us to stand strong and not waiver in this area.

There is an evil force, Yahweh, that wants to undermine your Kingdom Authority. I stand in agreement with you against this usurping of authority in the spiritual realm. It can not and will not stand. Your word says that whatsoever we shall bind on this earth shall be bound in the skies. This is our legal right through the new covenant with Yeshua the Messiah, so I come before you today and I bind the spirit of bondage that keeps your people locked in spiritual chains, the spirit of err that keeps them from receiving your Truth, and the spirit of the anti-Christ that usurps your Kingdom Authority over my house, my city, my county, my state, and the nation you have placed me in. Renew our minds and give us your divine power to tear down these strongholds, Yeshua, so they will not operate through the media, the government, our churches, schools, in the public squares, in our hearts and minds. I recognize it must first start with me and those called by your name, so I hereby decree that I will no longer allow the spirit of deception and lies to infiltrate my mind. I will not come in agreement with hatred, envy, obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather I will rejoice in you with thanksgiving. I will no longer come in agreement in impurity, immorality, and greed for I know this is idolatry and idolaters have no inheritance in the kingdom of Yeshua and of Yahweh.

Deliver me from every unclean spirit that seeks to destroy me and my relationship with you and fill me with your Spirit of Truth and Life. I resist the devil and I command him and his minions to flee!

In closing, Yahweh, you have called us to speak to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from your Spirit and to make music from our heart to you. I ask you to fill me, as well as all those called by your name, with a new song of love for one another and for you. I know that through this love that surpasses all understanding, your Will will be done. You made us one, Yahweh. Keep us together as one and be glorified in all we do.
